Credit Cards as a tool
For the first time I am proud to say credit cards are not my enemy. They are a financial tool, which if used wisely can reap great benefits. For example, my spanking brand new $100 gift card to Marshalls. Oh!! the joys of shopping with someone else's money.
I have an Amtrak rewards Mastercard. I have so many points now, I can ride up and down the east coast for free all summer. That will come in handy for sure.
You are so right. I always make sure I have enough money to pay for what I put on the card and pay it off every month. I just see it as a way to get nice rewards and build good credit history.

I'm getting dangerously close to the $100 GC from one of my credit cards too! It's also be awesome because that card is 0% interest for 6 mos.!
