A writer from the NYPost tore up his Amex application, taped it back together and was still approved for the card. WTF???

What's funny is I mentioned this to my Mister and he said he'd read that a long time ago... then I mentioned this was the author's SECOND time in two years doing it with the same company.
mmm, maybe they will let me have one of those ONE from Amex cards, then. I've been jonesing for one of those since they introduced them. I dream of one day being one of those people who puts their recurring monthly costs, gas and groceries on a credit card and then pays the full balance when the statement comes. it's hard to do that when you've got a $750 credit limit :\
