I pulled my credit report this week to review for errors. Lo and behold damn Experian still has a balance on a credit card that I paid over a year ago. They are the only one still reporting that card with a balance. The other two agencies has the balance as 0. I disputed the debt and am waiting on a response from Experian.
It is really important to take advantage of the free reports.

What a pain! I hate dealing with credit reporting companies.
It seems like Experian is the jankiest one. Whenever I request my free copy, I never receive it.
GGRRRR
I don't understand why it takes so long for the credit reporting companies to make things right. Does anyone know how long (days, weeks, months, years?) it takes to get something like this removed from your credit report?
If the other 2 credit companies aren't reporting it, then why doesn't Experian get a clue?! Frustrating!
