Bankrate.com today has an article on in-store check conversions. I understand all the concerns in the article, but the question I ask is: Why are people still writing checks for their purchases at the store. I see customers do it all the time at our store. However, we do not store the checks, the customer gets the paper check back.

I didn't read the article.. but I only write checks for groceries to hold onto my money longer :) LOL everything else is either cash or check card.
I don't get it either! I haven't written a check in ages! DEBIT CARDS people! LOL
