I have a new full-time job.
Advantages:
Great move for my career, am finally using that degree
More money
Better Benefits
Less hours in the work week
No more tolls, cheaper public transportation
Disadvantages
Public transportation: the subway is crowded, stink, loud, stink, stink, did I mention smelly!!!!

Im on that subway everyday so I know what you mean. If your on the 4 train when there is a Yankee game scheduled, brace yourself cause you will want to beat somebody down.
As far as brown bagging it, I just use leftovers from the night before, if not sandwiches are always easy.

Congratulations on the new job! Consider bringing a book or something if you are able to sit down. It makes the trip go faster. I used to take a bus to work, and I would read. It made the trip much more pleasant. Now, I ride my bike to work. Way better!
