The pension contributions have started. My retirement picture looks brighter each day. Short-term my financial picture is still a bit bleak but am making progress.
Slow and steady wins the race.

You know, its interesting because I have felt like that plenty of times....the short term always seems like a struggle of some sort but it really is comforting to see just how fast your retirement can grow with compounding interest :)

Patience isn't one of my virtues, but I'm definitely learning to look at the BIG picture (and not just the small short term gains) when it comes to finances.
