I have decided not to move, and renew my current lease for one more year.
The main reason for this is financial. I cannot afford to pay and increase in rent, or pay to move my stuff. Plus, emotionally I am not prepared to deal with settling into a new environment. I have also been contemplating moving out of the tri-state area completely, but that is still up in the air.

I feel ya. ALthough my living situation aint the greatest, I like it, its CHEAP, and i hate moving.
I also do not like moving and have moved a few times in the past 5 years. I will just give it another year and see what happens.
Have you thought about California? Come over here.....we would have so much fun!

I absolutely HATE packing. Next time I plan to move will either be out of state or into a bigger house. Finances aside, I still wouldn't want to pack. I'm hiring a moving company so I won't have to lift a finger.
Single Ma, the packing was also apart of the decision. Once I sat down and thought about this I do not want to move until am able to buy my own. Also, I think this MPA degree I just received is not doing anything for me in the NY area.
Leighann I would move to Cali for one reason, the weather. However, financially it would not be until I won the lottery, LOL.
