What is your limit on gas??

My limit is $4.75.

Currently gas is $4.39 where I live. Once the price reaches $4.75 that will be it. I will park the car until it goes down (at least that is the plan).

Good question, I never thought of it.

I guess about the same as yours. My car only take premium gas so Im sure to reach it quicker. After that I have to ask my employer for a gas card or work from home

Utah got it together

I don't have a limit. It costs what it costs and when I need gas, I'll buy gas. However, I stopped driving everyday about two years ago. I've been walking and using public transportation for that long, so I'm already "parking" my car.

Hey sis - for this very reason i wont buy a car in NYC - gas is too crazy - fortunately in a city like this you dont need a car

$140.00 a month. That's all I'll spend on gas. period.

did you say gas was $4.39? damn.. well I honestly have no choice.. I'm still paying just under $4 (3.91) and where i live I need my car to get around.. now if I lived in BK still... no question I would only use my car on weekends to go to the stores and be parked up moving that joker from side to side due to alternate side of the street parking!!!

If you DON'T have to drive ma.. then don't!!! Not sure WHERE you are working but even when I worked it Jersey it was cheaper to hop on the damn train/bus than it was to drive.. until my mom and I worked for the same company then we carpooled and we only paid for gas instead of 2 monthly bus passes and metrocards!

I hadn't thought of a price threshold. I know I have been driving a lot less since we passed the $4 mark though :(

If it goes up to $5 then I will buy an electric car.
