Am revamping my resume

I just received an MPA degree in February 2006. Therefore, I have decided to redo my resume since I've had the same formal since sophomore year. It looks a bit juvenile to me.

Does anyone know of a free resume writing service?
I have read all the articles and tried doing it myself but it does not seem to be working.

One of my new goals is to increase my income by at least 10,000 by the end of 2007.

best thing to do is have your friends who have been working in the position you'd like to be in critique it for you.

if you don't have any then you need to start networking pronto!

Resume writing services charge you hundreds of dollars, and the only real-world resume I have seen them produce had grammatical errors and typos all over it! You'd be much better off using a template you find online, or Microsoft Word has several built in - search for the Resume Wizard. Then have a friend who knows how to write review it for you.

Hey hey,

Don't use the resume writing service-- E-mail me. I have something that really helped me out and I received a huge response when I sent my resume out.

Congrats on the degree..I agree with the first guy, write your own and get some of your peeps to critique it. Also, I like to go on the web and look at people's resumes or friends resumes. I see what I like and incorporate that into mine. Resume writing services can't do but so good of a jon b/c they don't know you. Everything is objective to them and they can't emphasis things that you may want to. Plus they cost way to much for the service that they provide. Hey, that's a good business idea though!!!!!
