When it rains it pours

So it is raining here in the tri-state area this morning and what happens? I get into a freakin car accident!
Am ok physically, mentally am gonna loose my marbles. I freakin hate women drivers (disclaimer I am a woman). Look where the hell you are going you idiot.

The car needs work ($$), my deductible is 1,000 ($$), I need a rental to get to work ($$), my insurance premiums might go up ($$), I cannot get to my second job tonight, so there goes my shift ($$) am leaving work early so I can bum a ride back to NY ($$).

Since my direct deposit has not come through yet I need to pick up my pay check ($$), without a ride I cannot do that ($$). Arghhhhhhhh!!

See the pattern here, am gonna be bleeding money for the next few weeks.

I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. They can really throw your finances off kilter. Even when it's not your fault. That stinks like sweaty balls!

Glad you're ok though. That's the most important thing.

Be easy...

Hang in there! We're all in this together--we'll make it. Everything happens for a reason. You just can't see it or understand it (sometimes you NEVER understand it!). It will work out.

Sheila thanks a mil. I hear you on the reason...only now 24 hours later am I able to relax and take a deeep breath.

At the end of the day I realize it is just money. I have my life and health.

I'm just glad you're ok, it's too scary to think of the million other things that could have happened.

Oh dear, that sounds awful!

I'm glad you're physically ok, but you must be under so much strain!

Update when you get a chance.

Ms. Mini Ducky, Collegegrad and beyondbroke...thanks for the well wishes.

Mentally, I have put most of it behind me, not much I can do at this point. I have learnt that stressing over it does not help.
