My cheap breakfast for today is cornmeal porridge. Love it!!! not to mention the ingredients can all be had for under $5.00, and makes quite a few servings.

I used to come to work and buy an omelette with toast and OJ every other day, spending almost $6 for JUST breakfast...I wont even tell you how much I used to spend on lunch here in Manhattan.

NOOOOOW...I buy a box of Honey Bunches of Oats (or Cheerios) for $3.99 and it lasts for about seven days. I use the milk at work, so I end up spending less than sixty cents a day for breakfast.

It DOES get boring after a while though!

See...something told me I'd better warn some folk!!!

I spend between $3.00 to $5.00 on breakfast daily and if I include lunch and my midday snacks. Shew we're talking roughly $10 or $12 easy per day.

And I have the never to wonder why I'm always cryin' broke.

Psst loan me $5.00.... :-)

Diva that is the way to go. It really helps!

Sistah Ant I do not like oatmeal that much, but it is cheap and it is good for you.

Ms. Behaving am challenging you to eat breakfast at home 3 days per week. Think you can handle that.
Psst: I only have $10 bucks to my name, LMAO.

Single Ma LMAO @ the goldilocks, only you. Now you got me thinking about it. Damn you, LOL

Your cornmeal porridge is my instant cream of wheat. A box with 10 pouches cost $3.29. That's almost 32 cents per serving and it lasts almost 2 weeks.
